Wish I had that for my yard art. I have a McCormick Deering grain thresher that vintage and that’s the kind of tractor that would have driven it.
Cool old iron covers way more than cars! In fact, I open this thread hoping for more than old carsIf we're doing old tractors... 1934 caterpillar twenty two. Crank start and it runs.
Is that a legit 7.0L car?Or the 66 galaxy that I'm going to build for my wife.
That’s pretty dang cool. I went to the Southeast Old Threshers reunion about 10 years ago. They had a bunch of stationary threshers as well as mule drawn and east tractor drawn harvesters. Apparently the Midwest show is even better.Wish I had that for my yard art. I have a McCormick Deering grain thresher that vintage and that’s the kind of tractor that would have driven it.
I wish. It was originally a 289 c6 car. Currently complete except motor/trans. I know it's not everyone's cup of tea, but I really want to do an ecoboost v6 with a 10 speed auto trans. Since it's for the wife, 400hp on a tune and 20+ mpg would great for a daily for her. And it still seats 6.Is that a legit 7.0L car?
My uncle has a real 7.0 liter. Had a windowed block when he got it. Took years to find a numbers matching block but it’s in the middle of the restoration now. Daaaaaammmmmmmnnnnnnnn. I just got a boner.
My grandpa had the same cat twenty two on his property. I used to pull the disc around on it every spring to knock the weeds down. Its at my uncles ranch now, been sitting for 20+ years. I thought about cleaning it up and getting it running again but my cousin is off her damn rocker and dont want to go anywhere near herIf we're doing old tractors... 1934 caterpillar twenty two. That's too bad. They're cool little machines. Just watch your ass on that starter crank kick back! It'll take your jaw off or rip your shoulder out of socket. My grandpa had the same cat twenty two on his property. I used to pull the disc around on it every spring to knock the weeds down. The repair welds on that thing! Whoo boy, she was rode hard and put away wet many many times.Been driving past this LeTourneau CarryAll for 25 years. It’s in the middle of nowhere. It’s enormous and hasn’t been moved in a very long time.
I think they kept it going with a stick welder till there weren’t any tire lift to roll on. Something must have broken while roading it to its next destination so they pulled it off to the side of the road and left it for dead. The repair welds on that thing!
