Now that you point it out, I see it. That's definitely what he did.

The windshield wipers are the simplest clue, but the windshield and the tub beneath it are obviously a YJ.

I tell you what, for someone that can point out that a WWII jeep is a Ford and not a Willys from fifty feet away, can name every jeep model by its alphanumeric code, and who owns a TJ, that was a really big miss for me not to catch that.
