I recently started ordering consumables on Amazon, been pretty happy so far. 10 decent flap wheels for $24 vs $12 ea locally. \n\nhttps://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N9H9KG9/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_igw2EbMWBNMG2?tag=91812054244-20\n\nMaybe not *quite* as good as the $12 ones, but waaaay better than the HF or other cheap ones. \n\nI also prefer these to a hard grinding wheel\n\nhttps://www.amazon.com/dp/B06X91H89M/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apap_a86ZT5YWGW984?tag=91812054244-20\n\nThose are OK, but I\'d like to find something that lasts a little longer. \n\nFor cut off disc\'s I\'m fine with HF, or the diamond coated wheels, not quite as fast as a normal cut off disc but less mess.

I use those benchmark abrasives flat wheels too. Not much beats a hard wheel for longevity though, haha!

I have ordered benchmark before. I like them compared to the Hf ones. I have not tried anything else.

Roark supply the last few years. Stock up on abrasives once a year around the holidays when they have a sale. PBB 10% off code as well

Hopefully they will come here and support the forum.

I went ahead and bought 2 packs on amazon to get the free shipping, Thanks! I'll give them a try.

My normal go to is Lehigh Valley Abrasives which I heard about on Pirate many years ago.

They have been the best value for me. They have Metabo slicer cutoff wheels for just over a buck and I buy 50 flappers at a time normally.

I am a flap wheel snob, I pretty much only use walter enduro-flex . I'm not as picky about cut off wheels and hard wheels but I do like metabo, sait and pferd wheels.

This my go to for sanding / grinding air tool. It uses 3M twist lock flapper pads in verifiable grit as well as scotch-brite pads. I don’t use it for heavy grinding but I don’t do much of that anyway and I have a shit ton of 4 1/2” grinders and a 7” for that. Most of my 4 1/2” grinders are setup with cutoff, sanding pads and wire wheels.
