Only thing I can add is in the way back Time Machine, my cousin (scuba dive partner) and I went to the Florida keys in 1989. I made all reservations and plans for this trip. I scheduled a rental car to pick up at the Miami airport when we arrived there. I rented a compact car for a week, but when we arrived to pick up our rental car, the rental place was all out of them. So after some back n forth, the gal working there checked and offered a Dodge LaBarron convertible car for us at the same price. And off we went on our trip.
We stayed at key largo and on the way down from Miami, I kept looking at the speedometer and it went up to like 160 mph. We didn’t feel comfortable testing it out as it was dark out and we didn’t want to start things out being pulled over.
One day while driving around on key largo, I turned off onto old hwy 1 heading north out of key largo just checking out the scenery. It was nothing but trees as jungle as far as the eyeballs could see. So, I scratched our itch and pushed it to see how fast it would go. 140 mph we got it up to.
I liked the car but it was a new car and we’re talking 1989 too, so look at the other choices back then available
