I’d like to know how they really believe this will curb criminal activities and behavior while using guns  How much did raising cigarette taxes so high really stop smokers from buying them? I realize it’s apples and oranges but it’s the same theory they’re using to tax firearms and ammo.

What revenue they generate off of this won’t end up where they say it will either. Or they’ll just pull what money goes to those causes and use it elsewhere. Same shit they pulled in Missouri when they voted in gambling. It was for the schools see, sure, but they just took the money already allocated for schools and used it elsewhere then came back putting on the ballots of elections to raises school taxes again… cause they’re broke. :shaking:

Cigarettes are north of $20/pack here.

Hardly anyone still smokes, everyone vapes or uses those dip packs instead.

Cranking the taxes on em has worked.

If you don't live there, and didn't have a say, why are you complaining?
Because it’s not a problem that’s exclusive, and shit like that spreads like wildfire.

We all need to be cognizant and make sure we don’t vote for leadership that supports those types of actions.

Pretty simple concept IMO

For me it's because I spent the majority of my adult life as a Colorado resident and it just saddens me to see them going further down the road of Californication. It's why I left after 14 years. I thought I was gonna live there the rest of my life.

Are you saying I shouldn’t care about what’s going on in other states in this nation? Do you care or are your only concerns revolving around your needs in your state? And if so, why are you in here?

They didn't even wait to see if Californistan's 11% excise tax on guns and ammo made any difference :lmao:

It's a cancer, and as soon as the cost of living gets too high here, the morons who vote for things like this will sell their homes for ridiculous amounts and then move to your area, paying $100K over the asking price, inflating your housing market. Wash rinse repeat.

This dam state has gone down hill rapidly in last 10yrs. I've lived here since i was 4 and we got lucky on some of these amendments that were proposed but this one I knew would pass because the idiots along the front range don't like guns one bit. Im not moving as this is my place and really hoping people see that they are destroying it but we will see.

That's what's happening here. Now we're firmly blue and will be facing all kinds of anti-gun shit like this after the next election cycle. Our only saving grace is that the VA Bill of Rights, Section 13 is almost verbatim the 2nd Amendment in the part regarding citizens owning arms. That and we're not in the 9th Appellate district like Western states are. It's still gonna suck, but at least our shit has a fighting chance of being overturned in courts.

I truly don’t understand. No one ever benefits from the liberal agenda. It’s like mental illness.

We need reverse Californification, huge influxes of R voters into all these shithole liberal states. It's fucking retarded that we just keep running from all of the best geographical areas and leaving them for the left to ruin.
In Colorado simply removing all the illegal voters and dead people will probably achieve the same goal

Level of retardation is high though.

Colorado failed to prevent Californication starting before I got here in the mid 90’s

the blibd leading the blind

there are health conditions that precent you from getting a drivers license, there should be conditions preventing you from voting.

Those "good californians" pave the way for exactly the types of people who vote for this shit. The time to do anything was 20yr ago.

The party benefits.

It’s modern day slavery without the chains.
Give them just enough to keep them alive, get them to believe they need you and you’ve secured the vote for generations to come.
That would be property taxes:mad3:

The way they word those propositions, the unprepared voter can be fooled. I wouldn’t be suprised if half of the people that voted for it didnt know what it actually was.
Same thing with prop 1 in NY. It was the “ensure women’s rights”. So now we get trannies in girls sports and in the small print was all this crap about not discriminating about race and citizenship status. Some how that’s the runway to illegals voting here
