That's nothing. I've went to bed at -40° and woke up to 60°. :flipoff2:

Went camping last weekend. AC on at 11am because it's 80°, heater on at 11pm because it's 45°. Just another weekend here.

What kinda newish truck gets 11 mpg? Thats carburated v8 numbers there. I may own a vehicle with a lcd screen in it sometime in the next 20 years, so no idea what dash that is.

2015 Ram 1500 SVT. This tank of fuel has had a couple higher speed (WOT) long distance runs on it. That seems to kill the mileage. Although it doesnt get much better than that on a normal tank.

It's certainly been colder then the recent year averages so far this year.

We've been in the teems overnight which is about 10 deg less the past years.

You should trade it in for a 2017 like mine and you to could get 7.9 on flat straight highway

Swap to a tall enclosed box, hook 20k lbs behind it and let me know how it does :flipoff2:

These 550s running 488s just kills any shot at milage imo. Some of the new gm 5500s come with 3.73s. Makes me wonder if ford will start offering more 550s with taller gears? With the low 1st gear, most guys don't need that low of axle gears.

My 84 chevy k20 , will do 17 mpg on flat highway at 65 mph , hand calculated. Driving around town it gets 8 , maybe. 350 with aluminum heads, stupid big cam , holley carb, 3.42 gears , 235/85 ats, 700r4 it is actually nice for mpg on long trips.

All this time I thouht the epa was gonna make everything get amazing fuel mileage. :lmao:

I glanced at the weather this weekend, looks like high temps in the mid 20s for Pittsburgh. Really happy I chose to rebuild the front dana 60 in my dodge in an uninsulated steel quanza hut this weekend. Not the coldest in the 48 , but that's fuckin cold for November around here. Usually isnt like that until mid late December.

I do remember Christmas eve 2022, it only got to around 5 degrees for the high. Gas lines froze on my street, no heat so that was fun. No woodburner here , im not from the city just temporarily stuck here until I get back to the sticks.
