What's new

Clarkson's Farm

Binged it last night. I enjoyed it. The dynamic between him and Caleb is quite funny.

Just saw it pop up when I was scanning through prime. Will binge it tonight while the wife is at work

Watched the first episode last night. I keep wondering how much is just for the camera vs how much is just Jeremy...

Watched the first one last night. I wonder if Jermey realized the irony when he was getting kicked in the dick about government regs and then how he used to bitch about how Trump was killing the environment by lightening up government regulations on the environment.
Either way I am hooked.

Watched a bit last night. Pretty funny.

I expected a little more over the top humor similar to top gear/grand tour, but it feels pretty real to me, maybe because it's actually his money?

Maybe, but if I'm hearing it right he's well north of 1/4 million so far.I not sure anybody, even him, would be that cavalier about making bad decisions with their own money.

I think you mean 1/4 billion.
Watched a couple episodes, I'm hooked.

Just sayin...

Probably depends on what the farm makes vs the show. I'd bet the show is bringing in way more. Look at the Hoffmans on gold rush, even on their "good" seasons, they had so many employees and large equipment that I'd be surprised if they broke even. The show was their only income.

He did point out a few times that he was lucky to have additional income. The numbers were pretty sobering at times and the round up at the end definitely puts things into perspective.

It's definitely a bit more serious. I think he's trying to get across how tough farming actually is whilst keeping the humor he's known for.

I saw something locally (I live about 10 miles away from the farm) and apparently those that worked with him were impressed with his attitude and hard work behind scenes especially given his somewhat oafish TV persona.

He was the brain behind top gear, I don't think you create the largest show in the world by being lazy. He's probably one of maybe half a dozen celebrities I wouldn't mind having a beer with.

Hell I'd have a beer with all 3 of them.

Speaking of Top Gear (America), I had a few beers with Tanner Foust, he's a super down to earth guy. Just a regular dude who can drive a car well.

Agree.

The only thing I didn't like about him on the show was that he was a pro driver, which basically spoiled every competition. The whole spirit of the og top gear was that it was just 3 dudes.

I agree with that.

Dude can drive. This was at the mint400 in 2017, our team and Tanner shared a sponsor and that sponsor took us out for the night. He got thrown in the 'celebrity RZR' and just arrived and drove

Kaleb made the show for me, reminded me of myself, walking around site some days cursing my guys.

Clarkson is a great presenter and narrator, I hope they do a second season. Was one of the best reality shows I can remember.

I don’t remember the last time I did nothing all day. But I didnt get home till 5:30am this morning then woke up at 9am so Ive been tired. I just watched every single episode of this and it was good. My friend sent me a text in the middle of the night Friday telling me to watch this show.
