I picked up a pound of ground camel meat from the local meat market. What is best way to cook it? Just brown it to try, make some burgers?

Fyi - camels as re not really raised for meat most camel meat you get is from culling an old camel.

Ground is about the Iony way to eat that, I'd feed it to the dog personally

Op
Hard pass, but burgers , and sneak up on it...

Yea, but there's that "foreign delicately " thing we might not comprehend...

I had some while in Saudi Arabia years ago. It was prepared stroganoff style but sliced like a roast instead of ground. It was quite good, very similar in taste and texture as roast beef but leaner. So, I'd do that. It's up to you for using in a Hamburger Helper kit or making from scratch.

Treat it like you would any other lean meat. Cook it with butter or oil or whatever other day you like to add. What sort of cut?

Nothing wrong with camel:flipoff2: it probably didn't get penned up and fed out at the end, but there's lots of reasons to cull and sell as meat younger camels
