What's new

Camarogenius would have been 50 today.

And if i remember correctly he was not a big drinker.

He would have laughed at that.

Thats how he was so high up on the donor list, because he wasn't a drinker poisoning himself and the prospective new liver.

Start with 3 Luzianne Family sized tea bags. It MUST be Luzianne. Luzianne is black tea. Lipton is red tea. That red diamond crap is red tea.

Put 3 teabags in a pot on the stove in 1 gallon of cold water. Bring to a boil. shut it off, and let it rest for 15-20 minutes.

Place 1 slightly heaping cup of sugar in the bottom of a 1 gallon pitcher, then pour the rested tea into the pitcher. Make sure you use the stirring spoon to wring out the tea bags, Just use the back of the spoon to flatten them against the inside of the pot. Don't rupture the tea bags.

Stir, and refrigerate until cold. Serve without ice.

CG's tea recipe I copied and saved a while back off the old place.

Seems a good a time as any to go make some.

Although both David Crosby and Evil Knievel destroyed theirs with alcohol and still got transplants. Walter Payton wanted to wait his turn and died before it came up.

That stinks. I didn't know that about him. I think Mickey Mantle got skipped up the list and he passed in short order as well.

I wish I got the chance to meet him when he was in town but I was out of town at the time. RIP Jeff. May you be hauling big dumb loads on the highways of heaven with a big ole smile on your face.

I still have a few things I was going to auction for his recovery fund sitting in the corner. Only going on what, 2 years now. Damn allergies.

Genuinely good guy.

I only got to meet him once, in spite of the fact we only lived 100 miles apart the last 5 or so years of his life. Not at all like his online argumentative character... dude would bend over backwards to help you and was one of the friendliest people I've met from pbb.

Great guy, very humble. He was back in Illinois for a funeral the day the old board started putting money together for the new computer for the 6.0. Put food and drink into him in a non-romantic manner that night. He was blown away that everyone donated to the cause. He was scared for the backlash he was expecting if he told the board he was planning to swap the dentside body onto the super duty chassis. As others have said, gone way too soon.
