California Ban on hi-capacity magazines overturned

Hopefully it reciprocates here in Colorado.

Anything that increases personal freedoms is only ever applied to the smallest geographical area possible and is instantly overturned on appeal. If it restricts freedoms then its instantly applied nationwide and might get an appeal in 10-15 years

. . . waiting for all the flaming assholes that flamed me when I asked what the fuck have they ever done $$$ to support the 2AF and the NRA. Or any legal enterprise with anything more than bullshit and braggadocio. Your turn post up bitches. A big fuck you for your nothingness. For the record it was the CA Rifle and Pistol Association lawsuit.

What?

Really shocking that the 9th of all Districts overturned this. CA won't bother appealing this to the SCOTUS either, there's virtually no chance that they would decide to hear this case. CA was probably banking on the 9th to side with them like they usually do.

I would agree with that. Usually there is a immediate reply if they are planning on appealing. And yeah who would have thought the 9th would have done this.

Butthurt, party of one.

Is there a stock for an SKS that allows detachable 30 rd mags? I think it has to not have a pistol grip, though, which is the big problem. If I recall, CA still requires that there is no pistol style grip, right?

And is there a 100 drum for the mini14?

Asking for a friend...

They can still ask for a full 9th panel hearing, which they may get.

You can use Duck bills as is once the on board mag is removed. They just suck:flipoff2:

There is also the SKS D and SKS M that take standard AK mags. They do not suck.

Really shocked this one was successful. Didn't Trump recently appoint Judges to the 9th? :grinpimp:

It's the bottom metal that holds/adapts the mag, the stock may only need to be modified depending on what you go with. But you should be able to find some Tapco 30 round pmags and they go right in. It's still a dumb setup because the release is poorly positioned and they're shaped weird, so you really need to relocate the release and hack the mags up to make sense.

The Senate confirmation of Lawrence VanDyke and Patrick Bumatay to the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals this month brought to nine the number of appointments President Donald Trump has made to the 29-member bench that serves as the last stop for nearly all legal complaints lodged in nine Western states. Democratic-appointed judges now hold a three-seat majority, compared with 11 at the start of Trump's presidency.

Guess he has a few more to appoint then!

Which IMO is why Trump has had an excellent presidency and would like to see it for another 4 years. Those picks will have an effect far beyond the last 4 years or hopefully the next 4.

Domiciled in Texas but hanging out in Colorado. Didn’t know they had restrictions here (but should have as fucking liberal as they are here). What are limits on mags here &/or folding collapsible stocks? Asking for a friend.

Yes it will be appealed to full 9th. Just like Kamala did with the CCW ruling, she didn't like, and they struck down shall issue.

“California Attorney General Xavier Becerra's office said it is reviewing the decision.“

I’m sure that dipshit is typing up an appeal to the full eleven judge panel as we speak :shaking:

Can't order. They said some smaller court is holding it up.
Called another place, can't order. Said they are waiting for a letter from DOJ.

What's the deal here? Should I bother calling more places? Is there a chance some vendor may actually ship it?
