"Do as I say, not as I do"

Captain shitbag attended a birthday party at the French Laundry in Napa with more people than the state allows. People are going broke, losing businesses, homes and families because of the restrictions he placed, and then he goes out and violates his own order at some swanky french joint. Oh but he apoligized so I guess its cool

I would pay good money to see this guy get kicked in the nuts by a clydesdale

Saw it on the news this afternoon, him and auntie Nancy getting her hair done.:mad3::mad3:

Some animals are more equal than others. Neice was showing me pictures from face book of the halloween party the queen was at, and they sure weren't social distancing
Queen Lujan has decided we serfs were getting uppity and shut down the state again. We have a reservation for a room to go spend Thanksgiving with my niece, and I can't get the motel to answer the phone to confirm we still have reservations. My Aunt's beauty parlor is shut down again, mom says we need to go out and eat tomorrow before the shut down on Monday

At least he, "expressed regret," and his, " administration is trying to move on from the incident."

Have any of you actually ever heard of that place or know anything about it?

It's not just a fancy place. You have to get on a waiting list. I'm talking 6 months to a year. And it's like $1,500 a person. And you get no menu, no choice, nothing like that.
The chef decides what to cook and you eat whatever they give you. It's like a 6 or 7 course dinner and supposed to be top of the top. I know a guy that ate there, and when he told me all this I looked at him with disbelief that anyone would waste money like that. He's been there twice, by the way. I'll never get it.

But yeah, Newson is trash and nobody should be surprised.

I'm not going to lie, The French Laundry is on my bucket list.

My older daughter used to be “pen pals” with a kid who was working on getting a job there (He was in England). I’ve dined in some nice places, that place is too fancy for my blood.

I hope his majesty had a good time on our tax dollars 🖕🏻

There used to be a restaurant named Foxy Johnnies near Lake Winapasaukee, NH. My grandparents would take us there when we would go to their summer house.

Same frame. 6 or 7 course menu. When we were kids we HATED every single course. I can't believe my grandparents spent that much money when all I wanted was a hot dog and french fries.

It's more like $300-400 per person but yeah, fancy place, long wait for reservations. Have you ever heard of omakase? Similar thing.

Anthony Bourdain did a piece on it, its astounding the amount of effort the head chef/owner put into their craft. Not your thing, dont go there, they definitely wont miss your money.

But I digress, fuck newscum, rules for the but not for me.

Yeah, I lived in the Napa Valley for a few years. Way too rich for me, I'll spend thousands on dragging old iron home but spending that much on a meal that I'll flush down the toilet a few hours after I eat it is not for me. It's all about priorities.:flipoff2:

ah, so nice to hear that the people of CA are so happy to reward their public servants in such a way!

this is punishment for the voters rejecting affirmative action again :rasta:

small price to pay to keep the blue suits in power

Mark my words, this shit is going to backfire on these politicians. People are tired of these bullshit orders.

not in fucking WA it won't :lmao:

i'm eternally hopeful, but it is very unlikely that newsome loses in 2022. People are too comfortable, even the fucking homeless lead a privileged life out there

It's already happening. People voted blue for the pres and red down ticket. They're fed up with local politicians policy.

Hell I just checked wa and the governor race was far from a blowout and ballot measures mostly went conservative.

56/43 is certainly better than the 60/30 split or whatever it was earlier, but still doesn't seem likely.

edit: can't win them all, WA approved SexEd for ALL students 🤣
According to the bill, comprehensive sex education would be scientifically and medically accurate, as well as age-appropriate.

Students in kindergarten through third grade would be taught social-emotional learning with a focus on controlling emotions, understanding boundaries and identifying a trusted adult.

ah yes, kindergartners will surely benefit from increased sexual awareness :rasta:

I did say mostly. :rasta:

You all are still batshit crazy about some stuff.

hey i'm glad you posted that link. further solidifies keeping my kid out of WA public schools.

i'm a bit surprised all the tax and spend stuff didn't go through.

People are waking up to the fact that their local elected officials are nutty.
The people appear to have voted against trump. They also appear to have voted against Democrats and Democrat policies country wide.

People still think the walking corpse won a free and fair election? That's all he did was make COVID threats and promise empty chairs and a dark winter.
