Buy or Build trailer?

Wired. Don't mind the colors.... I had left over wire from another project.

I think I may need to swap on this different springs. That's 1100 lb , and the u-bolts are hitting the crossmember on bumps

Add some bumps.

I had same issue on my car trailer. Bolted some poly bumps between frame and axle. Works great

More spring first. Don't want to ride on the bumps all the time, that's how you bend axles and frames.

I have a 6.5 x 10 solid side H&H trailer with a 3500lb axle. I put 5200lb springs on it. Best upgrade I’ve made. It handles significantly better with a load.

I have the stiffer springs. Just need to swap them on. It will have to suffer a couple hundred miles this weekend. No time to do it now.

Just admiring your chain setup
(while zooming in to check if truck registration was current.) :flipoff2:

Hahaha yeah. Chains were short. Had to run to a meeting, figured one was better than nothing. It's fixed now. :flipoff2: I was done ring how long it would take someone to see that. And yes my reg is good :flipoff2:

Made it a couple hundred miles. Tows nice! Glad I did the markers on the front corner of the fenders. Nice and easy to see. It's almost exactly the same width as the mirrors on my Tundra. Ball-axle is a little long, I have to swing a little wide on turns. But overall good enough!

Need to swap to the stiffer springs and add the brakes....
