Brandon Herrera for Congress

My statement that you quoted was intended as humor . . . for folks apparently a tad sharper than you :flipoff2:
As usual the brightest dumbasses come in spouting bullshit before they read. Classic!

Outspending and yet behind in the polls.

Hopefully he wins, and he can gum up the works of any bullshit bills.

Of course, I just had a coworker tell me today that we need career politicians because who else could possibly get stuff done :homer::lmao:

So there's plenty of retards out there still.

It passes the mag dump test:lmao:. That would be my bar to clear:flipoff2:
I mean he's got the paper work, modeling and the knowledge, i was a lil disapointed he didnt drop the fa bomb in the vid.

Been so god damn long since the last update i was hoping he would have say "SURPRIZE BITCHES"

50.7 Tony
49.7 Brandon
only 400 votes deference at this time

It seems fishy, that in so many elections it always just comes down to a few hundred or even a dozen votes. How is it always a damn near perfect split.

Also there was like less than 30K votes total. There HAS to be more than 30K in that area. Looks like a lot of folks just gave up and figure shits rigged and are just not going tp play any more. Gonna be interesting come November. And not in a good way...

Was really hoping that dude would make it.

Sad. But i would figure one side would blow the other out in a landslide with such low participation, that only folks motivated to get their guy to win would show up, and that was Brandon voters.

I had great hopes for Brandon too. I'm of the opinion that the "early voting" had some scammy stuff going on. And a few places would not let the observers in to observe.

i voted.

ill tell you everyone i talked to was beaten down by the calls the texts and ads.

seems like a good turnout for a very largely rural area in a primary runoff election.

whoever it is who wins just has to beat the Democrat

Well except for the fact that Gonzalez might as well be a democrat. Congratulations on getting to choose between two of the same party this november.

i wouldnt go as far as that. i dont like his comments or a couple of his votes, and i let his office know that. but he's definitely better than a full blown Democrat.

i have worked with his office on ATF issues and they are always willing to help. a friend had SS issues that needed to be cleared up for his mom and Dads recent death, and they were very helpful. i dont see getting the same level of help from a Democrat on those things, especially the ATF issues.

didnt get the guy i wanted but not a lot i can do

It's really hard to beat $$$ in our political system. He who spends the most money wins more often than not. When you're getting outspent by magnitudes you're highly unlikely to win.

Anytime I see a shit ton of money coming in against a particular candidate it makes me realize that for some reason the elites don't want that person in office which makes me want to vote for them.

I disagree. Most of his campaign showed his real character. He spent literal millions stretching the truth or outright lying about Brandon vecause he didn't have a real platform or decent track record to stand on. Guy is 100% a creature of the swamp and votes, talks, and lies like a democrat.

The way they were talking last night, it didn't sound like there was a Dem running for the seat

The speaker of the house came down to personally campaign against Herrera as well. The Republicans already have fits dealing with the freedom caucus and Herrera was pretty friendly with them. I have also heard that Gonzales was a competent fund raiser for the party which is what really matters to them in the end.

What the Republican party SHOULD learn from this is that there is a real push for fiscal responsibility, gun rights, and global non intervention in their party and if they do not tailor their positions to represent that they are going to keep having to spend a LOT of time and money defeating upstart Meme candidates.

Because they are controlled opposition all they will take from this is that their narrow victory justifies their shitty records.

its a primary runoff. Santos Limon is the Dem running to unseat Tony Gonzales.

This feels like the truth. We haven't had a major party for actually reeling in uncontrolled government spending and control for decades. Republicans spend away just like the Dems. Republicans want just as big of government and control as the Dems, they just want to wield it in different ways. They both want to force feed their world views by every legal means possible.
