Binoculars Under $300?

Since I said fuck Amazon. Anything I find on there I can usually find for a better price just searching a bit more.

Not a fan of Amazon just because the item descriptions usually have little to no information about the products. I go on there for price checking after I research the products somewhere else. Things like oil, brake parts cleaner, oil filters, automotive fluids in general are generally cheaper on Amazon than anywhere local. There shipping is also very fast compared to anywhere else, so if I need something I can't find local in a hurry, I get it from Amazon. Their return policy is also awesome. Bought a Optima yellow top off Amazon last month, description said it would fit, its the same group size I have had in there before, etc. Got it, didn't fit. I chatted with CS, who refunded me the money and told me to keep the battery. I sold it to my neighbor for $100 and ordered another battery that I knew would fit because its what came out of there.

Binoculars are supposed to arrive today, but UPS says they have been handed off to USPS so who knows when they will actually arrive.

They showed up yesterday. They have a good weight to them, and are a good size for me. The optics seem to be good enough for my eyes. I am glad I didn't get the 12x50's as these are a little shaky for me at long distances offhand. If I rest my elbows on my 4x4's hood they are very stable. I think they are a good compromise between cost and wants/needs.

Only thing I do not like about them is the case. Its a semi-hard case and much bulkier than it needs to be to secure the binoculars. My old set I could stuff in the passenger behind the seat pouch so they are handy from the driver seat. The case for these is too thick.

I ordered the Vortex 10x42 Diamondback. I think for general all-purpose type bino's they should be fine. I will report back.

That’s what I have, like them quite a bit. But they are my first “good” pair.

Still like your Vortex?

I need a pair of binoculars.

They definitely went up in price. Was looking at higher magnification for Yellowstone, but I think I’m going with the 10x50.

I like my Athlon i bought a year back, from Amazon not sure if they are sold local to check out.
