Biden is 77 y/o. If he's elected he'll be 78 y/o when he takes the oath. That would make him 9 years older than Reagan when he took the oath. I remember all the Dems harping on Reagan as being too old.

It's up there. My dads age actually. While he is still very mentally sharp his knees and back couldn't do that job. Can't imagine many having the energy to do it well at that age.

And Jo Jorgensen will be 63 when she does NOT take the oath next January! :flipoff2:

Imo Dems are going to have a hard time finding anyone who wants to attach their name to Biden. Most of them know they're going to lose in November and no one wants that hit on their career and Joe has too much stink on him from years of being incompetent, a liar, and a flat out creep.

What does he have left? He's clearly losing it mentally, but he's been in politics for 50 years and has made it as far as Vice President. History barely remembers VPs and Joe had an embarrassing reputation during his time in office. I'd guess at this point he either retires and goes off the rails completely or he can go for President for 4 years, get a good piece of legislation or two signed and in the books and that's it for him.

i pointed out to someone else that it wont be an Obama, because they cant make that obscene money while in a elected position like that. stay in your 40 million dollar mansion and become a billionare in a decade, or try to run for VP/ installed President, and you gotta hide all that stuff and put it on pause until you get out again.

Kamala Harris Declares Her Support for Decriminalizing Sex Work



In a wide-ranging interview with The Root, Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA), defended her decision to support a controversial bill that closed online marketplaces for sex, but said the services that adult sex workers once advertised on those sites should be legal. “I think so. I do,” the former prosecutor replied when asked directly if sex work should be decriminalized. Her stance represents an about-face from 2008, when the former prosecutor was critical of a ballot measure that would have decriminalized prostitution in San Francisco.

Harris’ assertion came with a caveat. “I think that we have to understand though that it is not as simple as that,” the California senator said of decriminalization. “There is an ecosystem around [sex work] that includes crimes that harm people and for those issues I do not think that anyone who hurts another human being, or profits off of their exploitation, should be free of criminal prosecution. But when you’re talking about consensual adults, I think that, yes, we should really consider that we can’t criminalize consensual behavior as long as no one is being harmed. But, at the point that anyone is being harmed or exploited, we have to understand that’s a different matter.”

I agree, In a Sports Metaphor I'd call it an "Unforced Error".

That is why I thought Stacy Abrams would be it. From the South. Thicker than a bowl of Oatmeal. Plucky since she would not concede, also fit the mold of non threatening VP in a way that Harris is not. But they will actually need some one to DO the job once Joe is "retired".

Joe Rogan recently did a podcast with the innocence project. They talked a lot of shit about her and her time as DA. How many innocent people stayed behind bars because she refused DNA testing in her cases. Even my liberal leaning girlfriend said no way to her after learning that.
