Mikel, we've had the bed jet For 7 or 8 years now. Not one issue with it in all that time. We got a newer version a couple years later for the other side of the bed and no problems with it either.
As my wife tells her younger friends who are starting menopause " it is a luxury item, but it was worth every penny,and probably saved our marriage ".
The price has come down considerably since we bought ours, if you can swing it for your mom I think she will be tickled.

I’m looking into this now, gonna research it some and make a decision. We need one for “age related” issues one of us is going through. I like that this doesn’t replace the whole mattress since we just bought a new one.

We have had the dual bed jet for about 8 years also with no problems. I would buy a new one today if ours broke! The dual one is the one to get and I would get the original bed jet brand.
