Barber Chair Tech

I came by an old barber chair.

I kinda feel like it’s Italian, but my google-fu has brought up nothing.

I want to re-build it, new upholstery, plate the metal parts, re-finish the wood, etc. but I can’t Invention hell the linkage hooks up. I feel like I may be missing a bar or something.

any of y’all have a clue?

Can you get a clear, in frame picture of each foot rest plate? Might be able to image search those.

It says “Record”, I think that’s a hotel in Italy, which makes me think that’s where it might’ve originally sat.

I looked at it for well over a week and couldn’t get my head around it.

I posted this.

looked at it some more.

put the foot rest on just to see another perspective and saw what I believe to be the only option.

I studied and searched way to long and didn’t see it until i made the post.

I’d delete the thread, but it’s up now and don’t want to be a Homo Gay Thread Deleter
