Not trying to be a smart ass, but does premium membership pay for improved bandwidth or server speed ? Posting and uploading looked quite slow.

bandwidth isn't the problem. when responding it looks like inserts on the DB are incredibly slow. updates/deletes(which is just an update on a bit flag)/reads all doing fine.

Considering there are folks rebuilding entire threads currently, I'd bet there is unusually high read/write activity that is temporary.

i've found it to be a consistent 11s. reeks of a timeout somewhere now that I think about it. the default transaction timeout in sql is 10s. if the backend here is using sql.

I’ve got a ticket in for this at the hosting company. I feel it’s a DB insert issue, similar reports say it’s a Ajax/Unicode/mod_security issue which I don’t buy. Either way it’s being looked into
