Why mils? I've done a bit of research and it's sounds to me like moa is easier for for me to math, plus all my scopes are moa so why put a wrench in it now.

Fair enough. Mils are easier for me, a mil is one thousandth of any distance. At a thousand yards, it's one yard, at a thousand meters it's one meter etc. if I miss at 500 by half a mil, I don't care how much it that vertical distance is, I just know I need to come up half a mil, no math involved.
Good scope BTW, really good glass for the price. Haven't checked tracking but I suspect it's good enough.

They track better than they should. 8 mils per turn though. That kinda fucks with my head when I'm running a ways out there.

Yeah, my current fave is the MK5-HD, and the only bitch I have is the 10.5 mil per rev. Fortunately I don't have to go beyond one rev often

Finally made it out today and got some lead downrange. Last nice day we'll have for awhile. Thanks PinionLabs for spotting my shots 
. One day I'll get used to this fancy scope.
I was really impressed with the gun. Factory gas block setting, standard carbine buffer and spring. Bolt locks back normally, ejection is at 3 o'clock, and no denting of brass.
