I don't see how golf is profitable. Yeah, it's expensive to play until you start doing the math of how many golfers you can get in on a day vs. the cost of the land, the incredible amount of maintenance, etc.

This reminds me of the first dropzone I started jumping at. we had 2 golf carts to ferry tandems back to the hanger from the landing area during the day. Night time was a different story. long story short, those golf carts had more airtime than most A license jumpers before the owner sold the plane and quit the business.and there would be no way that the pile of golf carts would survive
