What exactly did I just over pay for? Ill probably make my way to the shop to start paperwork in a few days. Damn online auctions make shit to easy :laughing:

But really I dont know poop about guns other then I thought it looked cool and why not have an old colt revolver.

Did you get this yet?? One of the parents of my 4-H is well known and regarded Colt guy. He has one that is from some Worlds Fair exhibit that he spent years acquiring and proving provenance. He did well. I'd be glad to have him take a look see. Hell of a good guy.

Won it but havnt actually went to start my paperwork yet. Im thinking tuesday. Ill try to finger it and get some good pictures.

Not sure why my potatoe acted up but those pics seemed to show anything that I deemed possibly important. Id be very interested to learn more about it if your frien knows anything.

I agree and f if I know who its for.... it is /was the regular firearm paperwork. I think the shop was just covering thier ass since they really had no clue what year it was. The shop is usually very lienent and has pulled a lot of questionable favors for me in the past so I didnt big deal it.
