I am developing a test procedure and want a sign off section on each page in the same spot, independent of the formatting of the stuff above it. Is there a way to create an object and locate it based on distance? I can get it in the right location by adjusting the font of lines above it but its a pain and will be time consuming as i continue to recycle this document. I tried adding it to the header but no luck as the formatting is limited.

any suggestions?

Make it a table --> locate that table by absolute position on the page, rather than locating it with respect to the other content

EDIT: not a Word expert, but I can fake it

I think I did something like that and used a Time Sheet template and gutted it. It would have one or two signature lines for approved/checked by. Almost like a "bathroom cleaning check list" and just modify it with your text.

Edit: like this, but I dont have time to be serious.
