i Drug it 1000 miles with my f150 it did great but the roads were so rough i lost 3 centercaps and my F150 hated itFwiw, my father in law has the same size and style trailer, 18'x8' PJ buggy hauler. It's only a 10k and not even very sturdy at that. It's about 3500 lbs. So you can only really put 7k on it.
My 22'x8' 14k deck over is 4500 lbs so you're up to about 10k.
With yours 12k should be no problem. But also not a heavy bastard to drag around when you just need to haul a regular vehicle.
ThanksThis thing fucks !
Love it !
Thanks And yes it is treated lumber I am not worried about it though the sun has cooked the Deck and paintGood lookin' trailer! I hope that's not treated lumber though, that shit is really corrosive.
That is another build I started and have not completed. yet Still working on my new shop so it takes priority over some projects.Sucker is lit up like a Christmas tree!
Digging the build but also really digging the crane mounted on top of the gooseneck trailer that's in the background of one of the pictures.
Understandable there for sure. That is another build I started and have not completed. yet Still working on my new shop so it takes priority over some projects.
I agree. Didnt know how it would turn out but pleasantly surprised. This thing fucks !
Love it !
yes, Everywhere they are touching i used a high density polyethylene plastic, all steel is painted and bolts are coating to reduce galvanic corrosion.Very cool trailer build
Quick question: where you mated steel to aluminum, did you do anything special or is paint sufficient?
