took me a bit to figure it out
usually run both it and ublock at the same time
oh well, it gone now

maybe firefox version seventy-something is finally broken enough that it doesn't want to work

Adblock and ublock are fine for me on FF v129, both mac and win.

It is asking for an update, though. Maybe I'll wait.

Seriously version 70? A year ago I was running some old 6-versions outdated firefox because the new one was stupid. It got to the point it was non-functional with a lot of big websites (ebay, FB, etc), so I finally caved and updated. Now it's badly designed and does weird things, but works.

Ublock orgin and Ghostify still working fine here.

Also, My browser is set to Private browsing.
Br@ve seems pretty legit.

it couldn't possibly have integrated spyware and such
the government would never buy such features from the tech companies with your money


nah, either it quits crashing after a couple weeks like it usually does, or it doesn't
getting kicked off the internet would probably improve my life greatly.

its your own damn fault you made yourself into a slave. modern world is a plague and anyone who uses any sort of technology is a FOOL and deserves whatever they have coming to them. Trash your cell phone, computer, and TV. If you need any more than a light bulb to survive, you are a coward.

I'm not worried so it's all good. And you can't really get away from software bloat if you're wanting to use anything modern. Everything is bloated and nothing is really secure. You do the best with what you have picking what works for you then move on as everything changes.

i used adblocker plus for many years.. but a few months ago youtube started sending me messages about my adblocker.. of course they were right on..

so i disabled it.. you get used to the ads..

Install uBlock Origin and never look back. It's always been the single best ad blocker. Turn everything else off, just use uBlock.

Yeah but that's only for default search engine rights, they don't have any influence over design. Plus there's numerous Firefox derived browsers out there that don't have Google involved.

edit: Though Firefox's enhanced tracking protection has been making all kinds of websites fucking useless lately for me. Really more of a general web design issue than Firefox's fault, but it's bad enough I have to disable it on most sites anymore just to get them to function.
 
Firefox today is IE 10 ish years ago. It will be/has been replaced by smoother working browsers. Privacy on the internet is almost impossible for the average person.

so apparently nothing will import to this shit from ff76, it's too old, and if I update the FF it'll apparently lose everything too because it went totally cloud-based at some point in the last 40 versions
took the time to update my OS from some distro that hasn't had any connection to any update repositories for like 5 years

as I was moving everything over the old computer started acting really funny, like it didn't want me copying shit over, unplugged the network cable and suddenly all my usb drives are no longer read-only
fucking piece of shit probably caught the aids or some shit
which is great because it knows all my passwords but I don't know any of them, guess I'm stuck moving the shits over one at a time

was able to mangle my bookmarks over at least
gotta buy me a usb-ps/2 adapter to plug my ps/2-AT adapter into, new motherboard has usb3 but it doesn't have a ps/2 port for the good keyboard to use
