Action camera - cold weather

It’s time to upgrade my camera. I have an older Akaso that was ok but not great. The biggest issue was battery life when it’s cold. I like to get some videos when we are sledding with the kids and when I’m trail riding snowmobiles.

What’s a good camera today? Are the GoPro cameras worth the extra coin? Do any brands or batteries perform better in the cold? WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity are a must.

I would tape hand/foot heaters to the back of my gopro to make it work in colder weather. The one day in VT when it was 4° my battery lasted about 8 mins when it was brand new.
