Great
Going on 3rd tank of fuel.
Mpg keeps getting better each tank.
(As the rings seat in I suspect)
Power is back to 2 hamsters and a squirrel, torque is better in the hills.
So far so good.

Headed to the con shortly, once I hit the foothills I will find out how I did.

Nice! Sounds like a big improvement. What rings did you end up choosing?

Some jap offering from the net, pic above.
Basic ring n valve (I just lapped the valves and cleaned up the stems tho) and a gasket match and blending the runners, also had to open the injector pockets on the celica head to match the 85 plenum.
Still need to pull a compression test after con.

Running the 31's and loaded up for Slickrock

It clocked a best of 20 mpg sustained cruising @ 75.
Definitely runs better.

Crawling it's really not any different, but doing it on 31" streets is...

Was waiting for the new rock ring, as I bent a wheel earlier.
