It’s a damn shame those two companies are no more. I spent lots of money at All Pro after Marlin straight up lied to me about product in stock. I was ordering leaf springs so being smart I called to make sure they had them. Guy on phone says yes we have lots of springs in stock. Needless to say the fuckers made me wait a month to get my fucking springs. Enough of my Marlin rant. Can you not just get another t case?

I’ve been a die hard toyota guy for a long time. Had a half dozen pickups. The parts availability is what scares me. It’s been damn near 10 years since I’ve had a 4x4 so I decided to put one together. This will be my last one. I don’t have the energy or patience for it anymore. I picked up a set of FZJ80 axles for $350. I am putting them in a mint 2wd 94 extra cab.

What R&P in diffs?

Equation is:
old speedo gear) * (new diff gear) / (old diff gear) * (old tire diameter) / (new tire diameter) = (new speedo gear)

You probably have a 18 tooth in case and a 19T would get it within 2-3mph accuracy on 35's and a 5.29 R&P. If you got 4.88s you should be close already.

After 5k on a fresh rebuild the front end displayed the ever desirable death wobble , found the indie I paid to have the knuckles setup while I swapped the re in left something to be desired...

with 2-3 # preload
I dunno why it shook

I put a set of km3's on it.
Got the frontend buttoned up, put a new set of HI steer arms on due to pulling a stud in to far. (Anyone need a set to ream out for gm rod ends?) also went thru the spring eye bushes cleaned and lubed then re tightened em.
Made a few runs so far so good.
Waiting for snow to see how bad they are according to the interwebz reputation
Great road manners, seem to hold rock well.

Running 31" dunlop mud rovers it was awesome , short but awesome.
We have had a weak snowpac recently.
It's a good little Mule, goes where I ask it, gets around 21 open road.
And takes me to town as a daily...
