My wife inherited this 5 legged table from her grandmother. It looks to be complete other than it's missing a leaf and one of the clips that holds the leg in. The clip is what I'm after, but I have no idea what it would be called or where to start looking. Was hoping someone here might have some sort of insight. Thanks!

I don't know what it's called exactly. Some sort of corner block hanger retainer. Light googling didn't turn up anything useful for me. Are you opposed to using a large washer?

Does that go in the corner on the 45* piece for tension? If so a large, fat washer or two should work. You could drill 2 holes fro screws and zip out a slice for the shank to slide into.

Correct. The leg has the bolt screwed into it and then the bolt goes through the 45* piece and the two tabs lock it into place. The washer plan was going to be my back up if I couldn't find something like the original piece. But also looks like I could make those corner brackets work if it came down to it.
