5.9 24V - Smarty MADS tuner to pass emissions?

my 03 5.9 24V failed emission opacity test . i blew 54, limit is 20
i just change fuel filter air filter and oil no change in smoke

anybody have experience with the smarty tuner
it supposed to have "1/2 power tune " would it work to pass emissions?
truck have 150hp injectors and 100hp diablo tuner i unhook the tuner and didn't help anything

my other option is stock injectors, which look like they are 300$ a pop unless someone have better source for cummins injectors

i wouldn't mind send mine out to have them returned back to stock if that's a thing LOL

I only have experience with power strokes but have a few thoughts on this. let the flaming begin

Are you sure it actually went back to stock? I wouldn't expect a truck with big injectors to run very well with a stock tune

Does the diablo support custom tuning? If so you could try to have a shop write a tune for the injectors and other supporting mods to clean it up as much as possible
