Called in at 0300 this am, got things all good by 0500. Of coarse my truck was hooked to the trailer with the LVLs so I took the wife’s new Exploder ST and played dodge deer to and from work. 102 and it was still shifting up in short straights:smokin:

Got home, gave the Mrs the business and headed for camp. Unloaded the LVLs and got half of them in place. Hot and humid as fuck.

Marinating steaks right now that I will be too tired to eat.
Everyone that is staying here for the weekend is tubing down the river and will get out and hop in the SXS that they left down there.

Me and the dogs for a couple hours.

In. Wife is in Palm Springs for a divorce party for one of her best friends.

Been pretty lazy today. Dropped her off at SFO at 7:15. Went to work to empty a condensate can. Came home ate a breakfast burrito. Power napped. Went to kiddos/dad's to do some work but kiddo was asleep so BSed with dad for a bit.

Sitting on the couch eating chili, listening to the Giants game. Probably go take the power steering pump off the bronco when the game is over.

In. I just wrapped up a 'double' shift in the sun. I went through four gatorade bottles full of water in maybe seven hours.

I'm going to spray down the S10 in wasp killer to prep for doing fuel pump tomorrow morning while it is cool.

I'm also going to brake out the jigsaw so I can cut up a bunch of wood for the cateo... my skill saw is down at the other house.

Speaking of the other house, I'm currently watching 'Watch Duty' for a fire near it:eek: I'm a bit curious what started that SOB.:shaking:

I need to get a bigger one, but ultrasonic is awesome for carbs!

Sorry for the shitty beer, it was in sale :flipoff2:

Kinda...
Just got back from a king crab leg dinner. Damn that shit's expensive, but soooo good..
Against my better judgment I'm going to start drinking heavily and turning wrenches , fixing what I fucked up last weekend.

In.

Got up this morning, checked my trap, nothing. I’ll put fresh bait in it this evening and try again.

I had to run to town to get Elliot’s food, somehow we ran out last night. While in town I picked up a few things we were low on. I think we’re doing burgers for dinner. I’m currently enjoying a lemon lime popsicle, I think it’s time to upgrade to a margarita :blender: 😋

I’m not going outside until the sun drops below our hill :hot:

There have been a few fires recently that make me scratch my head. The latest near me was south of the airport across from the HOA on the fourth. There isn’t much out there.
This one is south of the Placerville airport. I know on the north side of 50 there is a bit of a homeless issue so it won't shock me if that is the case here.

Wife and I went up to Niagra for the 4th, drove up after work on Wends and drove home this morning. Had a nice view of the American falls and the daily fire works were front and center of our room. We watched the 4th of July fire works from the 33th floor dining room- that was slick being above the them. Fun trip for a few nights away. Going to try to stay focused enough to put the bike's carbs back together now that I have the seal kits.

In, just waiting for the 6" rain Monday. This turned out way better than I expected. I tried some of these skinny pork sausages from a little meat processor in Shiner. Cooked 'em up with some tomatillos, a Roma, and a fat jalapeno. No other spices at all except the cilantro. I'll be doing this again.

In. Got out on the lake this morning about 11. Met up with some buddies and drank all day. Hot home about an hour ago took a shower and now waiting on dinner to come off the grill. Same thing planned for tomorrow.

Also - everyone should go to the OSR forum and sign up for the shootout. I know it's scary to leave chit chat but it's worth it.

My renter is coming over for dinner and hand over a check for a year's worth of rent. He wishes I would do 5 years at a time. He pays dick for 2 acres of land, a 1100 sq ft house and about a 1000 sq ft house but then again he pays for all maintenance including pumping the septic and is no drama. Roughly 1k/month.

At the last day of summerfest, had one last set of tickets to burn (and finally not so depressed about the doggo)

Stopped by to see digital underground.

They fucking suuuuuuuuuuuuuucked. Well the show did. Except for Humpty Dance, nailed it. Managed to survive the show to see it

Currently waiting for neon trees to come on

In.

Now that (this round of) construction on the bus is done it was time to clean and prep for our trip next weekend.

As previously mentioned in some other thread the goddamn mice have been a nuisance recently. I gutted everything today and went apeshit cleaning. 7 hours later and I dare someone to come find mouse turd. :mad3:

Mother fuckers. Still can't find their access point. Didn't find any food sources. Fuckers.

Anyway. Place is sterile currently. Traps and poison and dirty hippy botanical deterrents are placed every damn place.

Probably be infested again by morning. :mad3:

MX track down the street is having fireworks tonight so gonna float in the swim spa with the wife and watch the show.

We are out on property. I keep a couple traps set in places I can easily see, but Elliot won’t bother with. I’ll get maybe one mouse a month. I’ll get more if there is a dramatic weather change. I came home one day and found a snake in the house. Our house is not at ground level either, we have several step to go up to get to the door.
