Tyler stabs his 40″ Milestar Patagonias with a knife just before we decide to drive the Rubicon Trail. We were not worried because we are putting Glue Tread to the ultimate test. Join Tyler, Jimmy, Andy, and Simon as they talk about their adventure down the rubicon trail with some compromised tries. Andy the owner of Glue Tread was there to teach us the proper way to install the patches along with some added tips and tricks. Listen in and learn how Glue Tread can save you, and get you off the trail.

Connect with Andy on Instagram and on their Glue Tread website.

Simon is over on Instagram and his Headlamp Studios website.

Not that I partake or condone, but ‘boofing’ is ingesting drugs up the butt.
Which really creates some interesting visuals in a off-road/large rock scenario.

Great interview and real-world test!

4x4toyotatyler what were you fishing for in a response the last 20 minutes? You asked variations of the same “what are your thoughts after going through this?” question multiple times.
Mainly just everyone's individual reactions to see if everyone had the same concept of the trip, or if someone viewed the trip entirely differently than everyone else. I love digging into perception and seeing how different people perceive the world and reality.

I was also getting a pretty good buzz going, so I might have forgotten what they had said haha.

Matt's Offroad went to visit Bleepin Jeep. At 10:00 they tore a sidewall (and again at 15:40) and stuffed plugs in unsuccessfully, then waited for a spare.

Two guys who need Gluetread kits right away!

Imo every offroader should be carrying gluetread and Colby valves. It's not if you need to use them, it's when you will use them.

This would have saved my ass over the weekend. How long does a kit last if stored in a vehicle? Will the heat kill the glue?

It shouldn't kill the glue... might dry up the rubber though after a couple years?

Video is dropping Oct 10!! I can't wait to see what Jimmy and Simon have come up with haha. Probably the best trip I did all year.
