2025 Mustang Boss 429

8.1 needs a blower to keep up with the regular ol' work truck version of the 7.3
Really? You should google what an 8.1 does with just the factory detune removed. Then throw a 2.9ltr twin screw on it. I dont think "keep up" are the words youre looking for.

thought the 8.1 had fairly shitty heads where flow is concerned

And the tranny is part of the engine?

Come on now. :flipoff2:
he was saying that when the 8.1 needs a tranny the 7.3 is going to be having horrible internal issues

because they've been having oil pressure issues, something about a computer controlled oil pump not commanding enough pressure at idle

Gotcha. I'm not up on these modern gas burners. Newest one we have is a bit older.

460 for life! :lmao::flipoff2:

Perfect timing now that Dodge will no longer be making a V8.

this hurts me right in the hurts. damnit.

i also thought you need a barrel of oil in the back to replace all the oil it burns through? just burns it right the F off.

does the 7.3 have the oil pump with the internal rubber pickup tube like the eco-poops have?

i swear, Ford hates its customers. 245s under a 800 horses... okey dokey.

The engine or the entire car?
they are saying fully loaded it will cost $100k. i bet the dealers add their "We're Ford, fuck you" dealer premium to them and they're closer to $150k.

i looked at the styling and its unoriginal as all get out, and instantly says "we just copied a Nissan GT-R but with a bigger, more obnoxious spoiler. Spoiler Alert!".

anyway, its garbage and Ford pissed on the Mustang name with their stupid electric car thing and Mustang sales have been losing for years in sales to the Challenger in the sportscar realm.

Spoilers are fine. but why does the Boss have to look like a GTR went to vatozone and got every ground effect, wheel well flare, etc to try and make it not look like a GTR copy.

Z06 corvettes sticker 140k-175k depending on the package . ... so over 100k sounds plausible. The 500 HP GT Dark horse is around $70k base.

In defense of the 8.1, the motor was last produced in what like the 05/06 era. 7.3 has had two decades to try and improve something? My biggest complaint for the 8.1 is lack of aftermarket support.
