2003 F150 4.6 HG Replacement

A buddy needs the hwadgaskets replaced on this truck. I have zero experience with trucks of this vintage, as my Fords are OBS.

Is this a job that can be done over a weekend? One day to disassemble and the next to put it all back together?

Not bad to do, 2v engine is a pretty simple critter.

If you like your spine pull the engine out of the truck to do the job, not much more work but it's a lot easier. Can be done in a weekend if you're motivated.

^^ Yep, depends on motivation, rust and tools.
Change the exhaust manifolds, studs, nut and gaskets with OEM Ford parts. Dorman Chinesium shit sucks

Sure it's the headgaskets? Lot more issues with loosing coolant from warped intake manifolds than headgaskets.

He took it apart last night to reveal a cracked block. I told him to get a take out from a junkyard.

mine has done that! actually a previously repaired hole recently ejected. i need the time sert big sert now
