12 Volt Fridge/Freezers

Those don't run on batteries so I would guess it has a smaller footprint per volume?

FYI, Rough Country sold one with a built in battery. I thought it was a good option to have without buying another battery pack. Turns out that It caught a couple vehicles on fire.

I got their cheaper 45L one and it works pretty good! 2 trips with it and I won't go back to a cooler again.

I bought one last summer but it's a Makita version. Runs on 40 or 18 v batteries and wall plug and 12 v. Battery bank will run it for few days. Will freeze, cool, or heat. I'm happy with it. Had to order from Japan though as they weren't here yet. 45qt I think.
Link?

FYI summit unit showed up just in time for a road trip and works great so far. Uses very little battery.

Thats 100% not made by Makita, but neat nonetheless .
Not sure what you mean. It is a Makita item.

They make quite a few odd battery tools. Microwave, coffee maker, they have a big line of coolers.

Neat, I assumed it was just somebody on ebay with a cricut but I guess not.

ihpartsjeff I just watched your UA packing video

Have you ever run your electric cooler off of power tool batteries?

Curious if i can get away with that instead of a jackery type battery

Right on. Hope you enjoyed it.

I have not ever tried running one on a power tool battery. I imagine it would work but probably not for more than a few hours. I did recently purchase the Dometic battery unit and it works pretty good. Kept my cooler running overnight in my Superduty which doesn't keep either 12V socket powered up when the vehicle is off. Also worked good for when I recently borrowed a buddies rig and his only dash socket was way too far away from where i had room to keep the cooler. Tossed in the battery and ran off of it for the day trip. They are pricey but dam nice to use.
