Maybe ignore some of my more gnarly welds. Or don’t.

Finished welding the end caps on the tube. Added a recovery point to the pass side, I have another one and will probably add mirror it onto the driver side… they spendy though.
Also finish welded a few things and whatever.
Still need to add bolts for mud flaps and decide if I’m doing tire carrier this time around…
Took a neat picture of the Cruiser, for the gram.

Painted the bumper up today. Which caused me to realize my welding and finish grinding basically sucks.
I’m my own worst critic, yadda yadda… seriously though.
I’ll grab some pictures of the worst of it, honestly would love to improve if anyone has tips or advice on welding.
I’ll need to spend some time watching YouTube videos and practicing.

For me the welding itself is the easy part. Getting the machine setup is the part that I struggle with the most. I don’t weld often enough or even use the same machine often to know exactly where it needs to be set off the top of my head. I will grab some scrap pieces of what I’m working with to use to get the machine set to what welds the best. Also the cleaner your material the better. With that said flux core machines seem to be the least forgiving of anything machine I’ve ever used.
