$1,000 cheap truck challenge

Huh. I bought an overheating explorer for 150 the other day. Been a while since I wheeled for reals:laughing:

Hack it for 33's, weld the rear and it's ready to go. I've done a couple rigs that way for myself or friends over the years, always end up with the best fun per $ on them.

Sitting here thinking about it, I've got a rough running $200 super duty, I can patch together some old dry 315s.....

This is gonna happen:smokin:

Had a $150 V8 zj a few years ago. Spent way to much time trying to fit 33s and take it "wheelin" when in the end I took it out with a buddy and a couple free saturns and just jumped and crashed into each other  the zjs are fun, but the front axle and driveshaft is like made of glass. Broke both on stock, bald 29" tires.

They do jump really well though

I've never paid more than $1000 for any of my rigs.

I've paid more than $1000 on a single part though :homer:

I have a samurai in the garage that I got for $500 but sold more than $500 worth of extras it came with............has a $5k set of tracks mocked up on it
