05+ unit bearing strength vs 1 ton spindle

By the same logic, spindle might be stronger if they step up/back to a spindle for the 650 applications?
I think they're going for more spread -> longevity on a steer axle that sees lots of side forces.

Also, MDT and HDT spindles are on piece forgings. I suspect there's some "we only sell X a year and we're not gonna redesign the whole knuckle and shit and find new suppliers for those numbers" going on there.

I was racing the the 4400 car at the AOP bouncer qualifier. It was not that rough, probably just my bad luck. The unit bearing came apart, broke the inner races and caused the 40 spline shaft to lock down and break. I am still a big fan of the unit bearings. Just everything is breakable.

Spidertrax Pro-Series will fit.

Just need the $1900 per UB and the special stub that goes with it.

The spidertrax is specifically stated to only be a IFS application. "not intended for solid axle applications"

There is no stub available for SA applications. You have to make a custom one.
Doesn't mean it can't be done.
