On said 175 mile trip through the mountains I tried something new.

I turned on the exhaust brake and turned driving mode to 'towing/haul'.

Damn; it made a YUGE difference! :eek:

It literally felt like I regained over 50% of torque, like I removed the camper!

And apparently MPG increased; from 11.5 to 13.5MPG!🤔😎

Huh, never have used the oven in the camper.

Pan or pot on the stove for everything :laughing:

I always used mine for Jeno's Pizza Rolls. Don't remember using it for much else.

I did use my oven for heating the camper up. That's why I insisted on the pizza rolls the first night because it was cold.

I just heard on the instant grams to add in a pizza stone to the bottom of camper oven to help with a more even heat source. might be something to look into

We used a large tile. It definitely helps, but CDA doesn't burn anything. He is too good of a cook

Boiling water is probably the only time I've noticed.
I prefer heavier pans. Stainless and cast.

Side note - put a tile in the oven to help even out the heat. Even if it breaks.
It helps to not burn stuff in the oven

Boiled water in half the time.

Burning food is 100% chef-problem, not cookware or burner problem.
