My bread baking wins and fails

You had me at "beefsteak"

How do you store your bread post cook? When I do loaves in the machine, I gently/loosely wrap it with saran and keep it in the breadbox (read microwave) when we are done munching on it. I have seen a lot coming through the feeds on "bread bags" but that looks like something I don't need/want. I can guarantee that all my grams would say just put a tea towel on it.

ours live in ziplock on the counter. doesnt start drying out until day 7 or so

I bought a pack of these bags. 30 for $4.50 is cheap enough to not care about. I've been giving a bunch of what I bake away and these are and easy way to store and present it.

At home, I'll reuse them several times until they eventually tear.
