I'm going to yank it out and see what condition it is in, as it's been 20 ish years in service.
I'm in for a couple of used outputs guys, Thanks for the offers ya'll.

As to 5.29's on 31's
Yea been there , sold the teeshirt.
I run 70-80 on the highway.
Yes your xyz crawler ran at redline through death valley uphill both ways doing a hunnert, I gettit

I always figured that would be the case with those bud built crossmembers and those little screws.

Anyway you could swap them for a carriage type bolt and get to the nuts on top?

Yes, it "could be done" But theres 1 directly under the front cv that probably wont play nice tho.
then you still have the 8 t case mount bolts to contend with that are sandwiched tween the mount and skid plate...
