What did you do to your yota today?

CV axles and front diff oil today on the 4Runner. Driveline vibes have been getting worse. Got a front u-joint with a little slack in it. Not sure what else yet.

WFO sale is on, order the sas kit and rear leaf kit. The two hoses should be here tomorrow, knocking on wood this thing fires up and runs good. Need to get the Yj out of the garage so I can start doing gears and have space for the parts.

replaced spark plugs on my '00 2uz. 155,000mi on the clock pretty sure they were the originals, haven't seen plugs that eroded down to nothing before.

needs coil packs too, few of them were cracked :shaking:

needs a radiator too

Probably looked like the plugs I pulled out of our 2uz. Still cracks up that we pulled a camper across two states with plugs erroded so badly.

Side note... soaking in vinegar for 8 hours then pressure washing it afterwards melts off mill scale.

Got the other side and the internal gussets cut out and in the vinegar bath.

Started the oil change on the Tundra. Infamous chain tensioner slack started up not long after we bought it from the dealer. Guessing they put some super thin oil in it like the cap says to for "energy conserving"/engine killing.

Have to do my work outside and the rain is gradually coming down harder.

Bummer! And just heading out of Granite Bowl to add insult to injury. Hopefully you stopped at Beer Tree first to calm your nerves.
Better than coming out of Buck though!

changed my radiator in the '00 tundra today. thought i was doing good by getting a Denso replacement but the mounting hardware/brackets were dog**** compared to OE. Tried taking the brackets off the old radiator but didn't quite fit the new one :shaking:

12 yr old daughter had a good time helping and learning though.

Prepping for camping season. Installed the rtt and all the other stuff we usually take on the Tacoma. Revamping a couple things in anticipation of spending 9 days (1300 miles of dirt) in the southern Utah desert.

Sometime in the last 2 years, the rear seat mount bolt pulled the threads. Had to drill and retap. Maybe that will get rid of one of the rattles in the cab. If it wasn’t so much damn work, I need to pull the dash apart to tighten a couple screws. It squeaks a lot….but not enough to tear it apart.
