Works great, long as the metals clean. Bout the only way to do it without grounding through all your bearings.
Theres a cylinder behind that fixture on the right side. Press yokes an such into the tube.

Has a different motor for that. But yes it'll go slow enough to weld on a 5" tube

Yeah it’s a discharge dam. Here’s a view looking down the wall.
It’s a double dam. The. Thought is one side cascades into the other but leaves the mud behind. They don’t seem to be able to ever clean out the mud so they both just end up completely full of mud.

Still a few here in MI but not many.
Every town I’ve lived in they have closed Brighton , Oscoda and Howell .This one is in Romulus and I was the only customer in the place maybe the hotels keep it going.
