WANTED

Does anyone have a coupler from a first or second gen Tacoma (or similar 4runner) that goes in between the transfer case and transmission? Normally people discard these when they do a crawl box setup. I managed to accidentally discard mine.

More garage finds…
Low Range Off-road 22RE radiator. Survived a roll and was driven about 30 miles or so back to camp. No leaks and no visible damage, but is slightly caddywampus when laid on a flat surface, so it’s definitely slightly bent. It’s the one on the right. San Jose, CA. $100

Selling my 4.7 crawl box, I recently did a motor/transmission swap and this was not part of the new equation.

  • Marlin 4.7 XD gear set (23 spline)
  • Front adapter from Inchworm gear
  • Rear clocking adapter from inchworm gear

The front adapter 100% mounts to the a340 automatic in 3rd gen 4runners and tacomas. However, it looks to have more than one pattern and I believe it works behind the a750 on the 4th gen 4runner and 2nd gen Tacoma. May want to check with Marlin crawler if you are not sure.

Rear adapter is clocked at 10 degrees currently, but it can be changed. Changing it requires disassembly and dealing with silicone and re-sealing it. Rear adapter has the bolt pattern for both 1st and 2nd gen tacoma style cases. I was running an 08 FJC case.

I assembled the box in 2013 but did not install it till 2015. Probably has 10k driving miles on it and 500 offroading miles. I used redline gear oil at all times. I have a brand new HD shift spring and detent ball I can include, or I can install it prior to shipping if you want.

I built a sight tube into the side of the case to check oil levels. Which I will clean or replace before shipping.

You will need to purchase a new seal that goes into the seal holder on the transmission side. You can get these from Marlin for $12. Part number MCSE-512EC

Don't mind the pics, I am in the process of cleaning and draining the case to make shipping more pleasant.

Not sure if any interest here as these are 24 volt.
I have 6 Truck Lite #07370 24 volt only.
New with original housings, I have 9 housings. $50 each led headlight with housing. San Jose, CA.

WTB... need window trim for Driver's rear door for 1st Gen doublecab. The black plastic coating is pealing off mine. From what I can tell, they are no longer available from Toyota.

nothing special, really. Standard "overland" build. Bought it off of Expedition Forum about 10-11 years ago. basic bumpers, winch, sliders, skids, 33's, 4.88's, really bad paint job.

It's an 04. We got these... everywhere. :flipoff2:

I tried to import a cab from Australia in 02... had everything lined up with a gent in OZ (John... something... from the ORC mailing list). He went to get the cab from the yard and the forklift driver put the fork through the back of the cab. IIRC, Bud @ Budbuilt imported one in pieces around the same time.
