I keep popping fuses with my test light being a dumbass. Picking up a few of these. Most of the fuses I can just slide a blade style in, but few I cant

Really really happy with the skyjacker front 4” springs ( 210 LBS/IN / RATE 2: 330LBS/IN)
Better ride than stock
Truck drives great, havent dropped the trac bar yet, need to buy two bolts. With the early style radius arm brackets it was defintely lacking in the caster department

4" block from 85-97 f350 in the rear, sits a little low (level actually) , but i may leave it, i have a long and short style add-a-leaf, but i hate to mess up the ride.

Thanks, Got the riv nuts for mirrors, plan to swap door and mount those, then i can register this ****er and start driving it.

I'm not 100% sure, Bought them from a guy on here used...because budget. They are 1-7/8" primaries. I think they are heddman? Appear to be not produced anymore. Tires still rub after lift. To do over again I'd do l&l mid length.

Whoa way to brag! I lost so much turning radius with the Reid knuckles, tires clear the headers by a mile. My crew cab ram will turn circles around the shorty Ford 🤬 Something I’ll work on in the future. Very burnt out on steering stuff atm.

Primary size narrows it down somewhat. I think L&L and maybe Mad Dog are all that’s left for fender exit truck options. MD I think is by appointment only these days. I’m still on the fence about in-frame or not on the BBF.

I asked mostly because some folks say MD headers won’t clear cab mounts or steering shaft and others say they fit just as well as my Hedmans. So I was curious how your experience was depending on brand.

Didn't know that about the reid knuckles.

This one still turns decent, may end up adjusting the stops...At least with these tires/lugs I can feel them rubbing the headers. Wife was telling me last night i need bigger tires...That aint gonna help lol..
I think you are right, I had L&L back in the day and remember I had rubbing issues with 37" boggers, and changed to a chassis exit.

I had planned on Mad Dog and was going to wait them out, but this deal came along. These headers were already massaged at the steering shaft area, i just had to add a little more...Still too close to comfort to the rubber boot on the borgeson shaft. I trimmed my inner fenders, probably a little too much(because im a hack). I installed backwards from most being the headers went on then i put the front end together around them.
These definitely aren't the 1-3/4" L&L and don't appear to be the mad-dogs when comparing photos. I think these are heddman but nameplate is missing so i cant confirm? If i ever have issues with these I will likely cave and do an L&L mid length.
Fender exits are appealing to me also because its so much easier to build an exhaust for a hack like me.

I do remember the L&L fender exits fit well, no steering shaft issues, just a little inner fender trimming, but this was on an f250 with the different steering box location.

I was thinking about you snapping your front dana 44 shaft awhile back, as i was pulling up onto a rock for a suspension travel check/poser shot. :flipoff2:

Oh like this? The flex? It’s all frame baby lol

Road test after I found a loose hub. (I tightened the balljoint deletes first 😬 I think that was a mistake) Deleted steering cooler & radiator winter front.

It made the xmas card this year.

****in mirrors that came with truck are wrong.

Fired up the 79 and traced down the blown brake line.
Rat nest right above frame mount just below master cyl rusted thru the metal line

Looks like direct replacement is avail.
cool how much more parts are avail than when i first got into these rides.

Guessing next gen truck? Appears to be the 6610 for 80-96. They came with truck, the mirror head fooled me into thinking the same having just glanced at it.

anyone looking to sell some oem door mirrors?

Probably right, the doors would’ve been more vertical. No dentside bracket options?

Extra work but reshape the frame and shorten the bottom end to hit the mounting bracket?

Not bad idea, im torn on how to reattach bottom bracket to arm somewhat cleanly

I put LMC 80s mirrors on my bump. Had to bend the brackets to make them look right. The lower bracket can be flipped either way.
They vibrated badly in stock form. I added weight in the form of stick on sound deadener to the head and back of the glass.

Had a little time between sets tonight so installed the trac bar bushings.
Swapped to my takeoff 11-16 f250 shocks up front I've been saving for years.
Now front and rear match.:flipoff2:
They are just a little shorter than the pos rough country shocks.
Curious to see if these ride better, they dont look as gay.
Skyjacker coils are really long unloaded, just a little longer than my slip yoke is happy about with the seal kept intact.
So using these to limit droop for now.
Went ahead and started prepping trac bar bracket and radius arm brackets for welding
