Milwaukee cordless shears…

I know you say cordless, but I've been using these for awhile and $40 is a bit easier to stomach than $330.

I can't say I've tried them on 14ga, though... Honestly, that seems super thick for shears.

After dragging a cord around the the welder for the past 3 days on the scissor lift I only want cordless.

:p

Not sure how good shears are gonna work on Rpanel... seems like it would flatten all the ribs.

Would the metal circ saw be better on an Rpanel?

Not that I work with a bunch of r panel, most people I've seen use nibblers.

I watched some videos and it seemed to
work good…. I think as long as it is a double blade it will work.

The bubblers seems much slower….

But i don’t have any real world

I always thought that the really big scissor looking snips were easier to deal with back when I was doing it all day

I have the HF bauer ones modded to dewalt batteries and it works pretty well.

I bought the Milwaukee ones for the guys at work. They like them for doing r-panel.

Typically I use a circular saw but not being covered in hot metal chips has its appeal.

I ended up just going with a saw with a backward blade.

Now for my sloped sheets…. Can I stack a bunch of sheets, stagger them according to the slope and make one cut instead of cutting each sheet individually?

Technically you can right?

You can also pre drill all the holes but if you **** up you really **** up....

What CarterKraft said. At the very least, I'd cut them individually until you felt confident that you had things down and everything fit perfectly.
I was going to try it on the first three, so if I fjck up I can use them further down where it is shorter.

I have been pre drilling holes and have not ficked up a single one so far.

When my dad first said we were going to pre drill sheets on a 80' wall I thought he lost his mind.

But it makes a crazy bad ass looking building.

I learned about the punch method from RR buildings on YouTube, that's actually way better than drilling IMO.

First attempt at doing multiple sheets at the same time a success.

I will only do a max of 3 at a time though…. Don’t wanna screw myself.

straight walls stack and clamp, and make a ice pick punch. With that few sheets you can just punch the holes right through.

A better version of drilling
