Local offroad shop has a ton of old ramsey stuff laying around amongst other things. Im trying to track down the Ford Ranger p8402 295091 and the Ford Ranger p6402G 295082. The closest I have been able to find is P8402G on the sears website of all places. Looks like its for the 83-87 ranger. Im hoping the other is for the 88-92 which would work on my 92 explorer for the period correct/modern hybrid vibe I have going for it. I have spent hours googling with no results.

Thanks bud. The part number that pulled the closest is the one front that Sears link. It shows a parts break down for what looks like an 83-97 ranger/bronco brush guard with winch mount. I think running that center section with an m8000 would be a cool period correctish way to mount a winch. Another potential route is the "hidden" setup on this bronco 2.

Yeah, I'm sure I could. but for $50 bucks that other one gets me moving in the right direction.

This is whats on my 88 Ranger. With a snatchblock it unstuck a 1 ton truck that slid into a snowbank on an icy hill. I got the brushguard with the winch at a secondhand store for something like 60 or 80 bucks. I know, cool starry bra.

I like the overlander rig behind the fence :grinpimp:.

Thats my wrecker / gin pole / winch / plow truck. Sitting on a trailer waiting for me to finish putting new gears in the front axle. It's got a tired 454 that will still outdo most 350s. It's pulled some cool old vehicles out of the woods.

OP: Tomorrow I'll check and see if I can find any useful info on the Ranger stuff. It has a sticker that is pretty worn.

Do you mind grabbing these dimensions? I'd like to compare them to what mine measures out to on my truck. Bottom of bumper to top of fender/hood, top of bumper to top of fender/hood, height of the upright support on brush guard, height of the headlight hoop, and the width between the supports.

I'll give it a shot then too.

Outside overall width 59". It is a Ramsey Brushguard and winch.

Couldn't find any #s but it was getting dark.

Ended up making it work. Made my own brackets and used a warn winch plate. Came out nice and sturdy and have about a 100 bucks in it total.

little late to this thread but ramsey still exists might call them
You're way late. I took a gamble, bought it, built brackets, and mounted it. Ramsey had no way of looking up the old part numbers.

Was rummaging around exbosses junk saw a bottom mount PTO like something that would fit on a Dana 18 Transfer case.

Guessing it was a ramsey or konig (sp).
