Looking at a 2011 CTS-V, 95k miles, stock other than an intake. Three pedal car.

Since everyone here is super knowledgeable, common issues, worth owning?

Other then the coupes being of questionable looks, solid performing cars. Big gains to be had with tuning, intakes and pulleys. Pretty tried and true drivetrain as far as GM performance cars go.
I agree, pretty ugly, but who cares when your inside?

Pretty bad still as a caddi?
Still featured the cheap plastic interior like all GM products of the era, but a solid performer and easy to bump up the power.

Looks mint from the photo, snatch it and enjoy it for a while.

Keep it stock, unless you like tossing $, mods get you pennies on the dollar come resale time. Or stick with mods you can return back to stock if needed...

If you’re not paying a ticket lawyer, are you really having fun?

Oh, and as for reliability unmolested, they’re very reliable, but you might want to check the clutch at 95,000. They start to slip especially when somebody likes to play with launch control. You’ll figure that out.

I had an 09 sedan, not V version but the v6 was still plenty potent for fun driving. Electrical gremlins between the 27+ circuit boards that must communicate with each other via canbus spoiled the fun. That's likely every GM car though.

Had a neighbor that was a GM rep and was flying out almost every weekend to see the family for the last couple months he was here. Sharon and I would flip for who did the airport runs. I'm thinking it was an '05 manual. Still 5.7 if I remember correctly. It was a blast. Wanted to get her one after he moved back but just couldn't pull it off.

CTS-V is too reliable.

STS-V is where it's at, spice things up, add some doubt and urgency to your life. When will the head gaskets fail, today, tomorrow? Russian roulette every time you crank it up.

Quoted for truth. And despite there one lyrics being a few thousand STS-V's out there, they are surprisingly cheap.

They're too heavy to drag race or autocross.

So they tend to get driven slightly quickly by old guys. I don't think they get beat on half as bad as a v6 mustang.

If you try clutch drops you'll soon figure out it needs some beefy axles. Take care with the clutch and they're pretty damn reliable.
