Already started this truck so I'll just jump in where I'm at now.
I just need something to crawl with and don't have the money or time to do anything super fancy but I'll be happy if it works reasonable.
Couldn't swing the billet beadlocks so we made these.

Had these shafts made, they're supposed to be some kind of whop ass thru or case hardened but I have my doubts as chrome looking as they are. Looks like 4130 to me. If they snap I'll just bite the bullet and get the 300m ones.

Playing around with a front rotor I machined it down kinda seeing what you could fit.If I took it down another 3/4 and machined the calipers a bit you could fit yota parts on it. Probably pissing in the wind but need to figure something out with the stock front calipers hitting the wheels. Rear chevy maybe?

This is indeed a f450 axle so f250 brakes won't work. Doesn't matter, even 250 brakes are way too heavy anyways. I'm open to suggestions for a easy out on this 99-04 8x6.5 sd60.

I wouldn't suggest anyone do brakes this way though it is pretty light. Rear chevy 3500 rotors like early 2000's had pretty much a perfect backspace but needed the center punched out.

I used these four piston yota calipers because I had them laying around. They don't float on pins and mount solid so they have to be absolutely centered. Also machined the inside out a little to accept the larger rotors.
