That is a great idea. I have an endless supply of rotors. So ghetto. So useful for so many things.
Maybe someday I'll need extra height and bolt one to a drum.
The center hole doesn’t work so good as a press plate with more than two tons pushing on itThat is a great idea. I have an endless supply of rotors.
Duly noted! I'll stack them...The center hole doesn’t work so good as a press plate with more than two tons pushing on it
King pin press
Here ya go. I'll keep it in one thread for ya
My bead roller, and english wheel finished, and I'm gearing up to build my belt grinder soon, and am working on a power hammer, something I can use a thumbnail die on, as well as do some forging. Knife making is on my bucket list, I have the space and a home we own, so everything i'm building now is oversized, with the intent to never have to upgrade again.
Im interested to see large equipment people have built, I know some of ya'll have some homemade presses, thats high on my list to build as well
Why doesn't China make those yet?
That's everything from my duplicate thread which is gonna get HGTD.
Sorry I couldn't make the quoted pics display fullsize.
Printed an adapter to go from the slide hammer to the power steering pump shaft so that I could rebuild it.
I modeled the threads into the print. It took a few tweaks to get it right. Nothing better than spending way more time using the 3D printer instead of just finding some scrap metal in the garage and drilling/bending it to fit work.Did you put the threads right in the print or cut them afterwards?
