Has anyone tried these tobaccoless nicotine pouches? Is there a buzz comparable to cigarettes? Not looking to adopt another vice but was curious if anyone has experience. Tucker Carlson has been promoting nicotine as a life-enhancing substance while others claim it will be just another harmful addiction.

I work with guys who quit smoking and chewing using them with pretty good success.

I've tried them but I don't like the pouches. I don't smoke but I do chew grizzly wintergreen at work and only at work

I echo this.
personally i chewed cope long cut then wintergreen fer 25ish years. I quit using smokey mountain.

I've been using them. I like the smooth 6mg. Good little buzz, flavor doesn't last for more than 5-10 min. No spit.

There's been a number of studies showing positive health benefits to nicotine. I think it's highly person dependent on whether or not it's addictive like anything else. I've never had a problem quitting smoking or taking very long breaks between it. Quit cold turkey in my early 20s and never had a problem. Buy maybe 2 packs a year now. Might smoke a whole pack during a night out at the bar and then not touch one again for 6-12 months.

Buzz on the Zyn is the same as cigs, though I find it's quicker/more intense. Downside is I find they burn the inside of my lip, but not as bad as the Rogues. Maybe you get used to it, I've never done these things long enough to find out.

I like the Rouge a lot more than Zyn or On, last longer and have a sweeter flavor. I don't smoke but am pretty well hooked on them.

I don't use the pouches, but I will chew nicotine gum whenever I feel like I need to be firing on all cylinders. Supposedly nicotine is good for helping keep the dementia away.

 You mean he's suggesting people pick it up!?!

I explained to my kid that kicking smoking was like having an alien spider parasite in your head telling you what to do, controlling your mind. "Come on, just a couple, you won't get hooked this time."

And heroin helps you lose weight. Only a moron would walk into addiction on purpose.

Some small percentage may not get addicted...but some percentage don't get lung cancer from smoking, either. Russian roulette.

If I was smoking, I'd definitely swap it for Zyn or gum.

the rogues fawked my gums up in like a month

Switched to zyns and havent had issues

i do the 3mg and theyre surprisingly strong compared to chew

i orignially did the zyns in an attempt to quit but they need to make 1mg and .5mg to really help with that

im pretty sure my nicotine tolerance is way higher now than before with chew

I've never been a tobacco user but was drinking a beer with a buddy and he had some Zone 9mg pouches. I told him to give me one just out of curiosity. Felt nothing for a few minutes but then it hit. Honestly, that's about the closest thing to a cocaine style rush I've ever experienced outside of cocaine.

Hated Zyn, didn't like the burning sensation and the tiny pouches and any of the flavors, actually can't stand most all of the pouches, buddy gave me a Rogue mango flavored pouche one day and I found the taste pleasant, was using them most of the summer before I quit smoking back end of August.

Definitely got a buzz from the pouches, at least I noticed a difference when I didn't have them.

If you don't smoke or dip now I definitely wouldn't suggest jumping on the nicotine pouch bandwagon.

I'm not a Tucker Carlson fan boy but I do agree nicotine has medicinal value, I have ulcerative colitis and when it was raging in my younger days smoking would make my stomach feel better when I was constantly shitting everything out of me, I stopped smoking more than once and I'd start having a flareup within 48 hours.

Nicotine is an appetite suppressant. I get cracked up when someone starts posting pics from the 50s, 60s and 70 and talk about how people were much slimmer and no where near as many people over weight. I remind them that in those times a huge percentage of the population smoked.

They also got a lot more exercise and had a lot less access to highly processed foods. I know plenty of fat asses who smoke like chimneys.

I pretty much have a dip of Skoal Straight constantly in my lip, but I have been thinking about kinda quitting and switching to those pouches.

The problem is, here in Commiefornia, you can't buy flavored tobacco products, so the ones that I CAN buy are just "meh"

As far as the addictiveness, I bought a pack of 20 of those Zone 9mg pouches after trying my buddy's seeing that yeah, I can see a strategic use case for these things. That was about three weeks ago. Just counted and I've used a grand total of seven in that timeframe. But your mileage may vary. I've never shown much of a weakness for chemical addiction I'm more of a habit former type. If I started with them everyday I'd form a habit.

I use them when I'm racing sailboats to stay calm. Definitely feel the buzz about 4-5 minutes in and kinda ride it for a bit. I don't get really get addicted to stuff so I guess they're kinda like medicine. Spearmint 3mg seem to take the edge off the adrenaline and keep the head calm

Used to chew 2 cans a day of grizz straight, and typically about a half pack of Marlboro lights a day.

Quit smoking when I started running. Used nicotine gum to quit them.

Hopped off chew a few years later by using zyn.

Still use zyn, probably a can of 3mg a day. And the occasional cigar.

Probably been about 4 years since my last cig, better part of 10 years since I was a regular smoker.
Probably 3 or 4 years since I quite chewing. Not having bottles of saliva around and a clean shop floor are definite bonuses.

I believe it'd be a really dumb decision to pick up zyn if you are not already addicted.

never tried them... but Tucker Carlson apparently launched a competing brand claiming concerns about Zyn's opinion of 'merica.

What MG of pouches did you start with? I chew about a can and a half a day of Cope wintergreen. I'm considering trying these to get off it.

Buddy likes white fox. I tried one, felt sick, and it made my throat hurt. Dunno who said it but it was more like opium than cocaine. "I don't feel good, my head is swimming, and I would like to lie down."

I like it okay, I also like Grizzly wintergreen, camel wintergreen snuss and Winston Lights.

Not odd for me to have a chew and a smoke at the same time while drinking hard.
